Coconut Grove lives outdoors. The marina, the sailing, brunch under the trees, weekends that start on the water. That is a wonderful way to live and a hard one on lash extensions, because sun, salt water and humidity all work on the adhesive that holds a set together.
Anastasia Lashes Miami is ten minutes up the road in Brickell, and we build sets for exactly this. Whether that means LED technology that shrugs off the water or a lash lift with no adhesive to loosen at all, the point is lashes that fit the Grove lifestyle rather than fight it.

What lashes last through a Coconut Grove lifestyle on the water?
LED and UV lash extensions hold up best around water and humidity, because the adhesive cures instantly instead of softening in moisture over time. The Korean lash lift is another strong option, since it uses no adhesive at all. Both last six to eight weeks and are available at Anastasia Lashes Miami in Brickell, ten minutes from Coconut Grove.

Why standard sets shed faster in the Grove
A traditional lash adhesive hardens by absorbing moisture from the air, and it keeps absorbing it long after your appointment. Add salt water, chlorine, sun and sweat, and the bond weakens sooner than it should. This is the reason so many people decide extensions just do not work for them, when what actually failed was the adhesive choice, not the lashes.
If you are on the water most weekends, this matters more for you than for someone who works in an office. The good news is that it is a technology problem, and it is solved.
Two sets built for an outdoor life
LED and UV lash extensions
The adhesive is cured with light the moment each extension is placed, so the bond is complete and chemically finished before you leave. Moisture has nothing left to work on. You can swim the same day, there is no waiting period, and retention holds through summer. It is a $20 upgrade on any full set, and for the Grove it is the one upgrade worth taking every time.
Korean keratin lash lift and tint, $140
If you would rather skip adhesive entirely, this is the treatment to ask about. It lifts and tints your own lashes, so your eyes look more open with nothing that salt water can loosen. It lasts six to eight weeks, needs no fills, and is genuinely low maintenance. Plenty of clients alternate through the year: extensions in the cooler months, a lash lift through the summer on the water.
Styles that suit the Grove
Coconut Grove tends toward the natural end of the range rather than the dramatic. A classic full set at $150 gives a defined, understated look. A wet effect set at $200 has a glossy, just out of the water finish that suits the setting and looks intentional wet or dry. If you want a little more density without going obvious, a hybrid set at $185 is the easiest to live with.
Whatever you choose, we map the set to your eye shape first, so the lengths and curls are placed for your face rather than pulled from a fixed kit. A hooded eye takes a different map to an almond one, and a downturned corner needs length placed differently again, so two people asking for the same style rarely leave with the same set. That is the part a private studio gets right and a production line does not.

How long a set lasts and what a fill costs
A full set of extensions holds for two to three weeks before your own lash cycle starts to show gaps, and a fill rebuilds the line from there for less than the price of a new set. On the water most weekends, plan on a fill roughly every two to three weeks to keep a set looking full. The Korean lash lift runs on a longer clock: six to eight weeks with no fills at all, then you simply book the next one when it relaxes. Neither is better in the abstract. Extensions add length and density that a lift cannot, and a lift asks nothing of your week. Which one fits depends on how much of your summer is spent in the water.
Getting to the studio from Coconut Grove
We are at 175 SW 7th St, Suite 1805, Miami, FL 33130, inside the Latitude One Brickell Business Center. The Grove sits right below Brickell, so it is one of the shortest drives of any Miami neighbourhood to the studio, usually around ten minutes up Brickell Avenue or South Bayshore Drive. There is parking in the building. The studio is appointment only. A $50 deposit holds your time and comes off the cost of your service.

Your first appointment
Arrive without eye makeup if you can. We talk through the look, map your lashes, then you lie back with your eyes closed. Most clients sleep through it. A classic set takes about an hour, a lash lift an hour and twenty.
The studio is private and quiet, which after a busy weekend on the water is not the worst way to spend an hour.
If you have sensitive eyes, ask about the LED system. It releases almost no fumes during the treatment, so it is usually far more comfortable than standard adhesive.
A studio with a track record
Anastasia Lashes Miami has been in Brickell since 2015, holds a 4.9 star rating on Google, and is licensed and insured. The work is done by a Russian volume specialist with over 15 years of experience. For a Grove client trusting someone with their eyes for two hours, that history is worth as much as any single treatment.
