Classic and hybrid lash extensions in Miami

These are the two sets most people choose first, and the difference between them is the single most common question in the studio.

The short answer: classic gives you your own lashes, better. Hybrid gives you texture and density while still looking like lashes. Neither is dramatic, and both suit someone who has never worn extensions.

What is the difference between classic and hybrid lash extensions?

Classic lashes apply one extension to each natural lash for a defined, natural result. Hybrid mixes classic extensions with handmade volume fans across the lash line, which adds texture and density. Classic is $150 at Anastasia Lashes Miami and hybrid is $185.

Classic lash extensions, $150

One extension is applied to each natural lash. That is the entire technique, and its restraint is the point. You end up with the lashes you would have if yours were longer and darker, which is why nobody can tell you are wearing anything.

It suits clients who already have a reasonable number of natural lashes, because the density of the finished set is limited by how many lashes you have to work with. It takes one hour.

Hybrid lash extensions, $185

A blend of classic extensions and handmade volume fans placed across the lash line. The classic lashes give definition, the fans fill the gaps between them, and the mix creates texture that a uniform set cannot.

This is the most requested set here, and it is the one most clients settle on after trying both.

It suits sparse or uneven lash lines particularly well, because the fans go where the gaps are. It takes one hour thirty.

If this is your first set

Book classic. It is the lower cost of the two, the shorter appointment, and the easier one to live with while you work out whether you like having extensions at all.

Most clients move to hybrid at their second or third appointment once they know what they want more of. Very few go the other way.

Come without eye makeup if you can. We map your lash line to your eye shape first, which decides the lengths and curls used across the set. Then you lie back with your eyes closed. Most people sleep.

Fills, and why they cost less

Your natural lashes shed on a rolling cycle, so within two to three weeks there are gaps where extensions have come away with the lash they were attached to. A fill removes what has grown out and rebuilds the line.

Classic fills are $100 and hybrid fills are $120. If more than half the set has shed, a new full set will look better than a fill.

Where to go from here

If hybrid still is not full enough for you, volume at $200 is the next step, and mega volume at $250 is the fullest set we make. If you want texture with visible spikes, the wispy set at $200 is the Kim K style.

Whichever set you choose, LED and UV curing can be added for $20. It cures the adhesive instantly, which means you can wash your lashes the same day and retention holds better in Miami humidity.

 Book classic or hybrid

Classic is $150 and hybrid is $185. If you are still unsure, book classic and we will talk it through when we map your lashes. Booking is online with a $50 deposit.
