Eyelash extensions for Miami Beach
Beach life is difficult for lash extensions. Salt water, sun, sand, sweat and humidity all work on the adhesive bond, and a set that would last eight weeks somewhere dry can start shedding in three here.
That is a technology problem, not a technique problem, and it is solvable. Our studio is in Brickell, a short drive across the causeway, and we use LED curing specifically because of what this climate does to a standard bond.

Do lash extensions last in salt water and humidity?
Standard lash adhesive keeps absorbing moisture after it cures, so humidity and swimming shorten how long a set lasts. LED cured adhesive forms its bond instantly under light, so moisture has nothing to act on. It is a $20 upgrade at Anastasia Lashes Miami and holds 6 to 8 weeks.

Why sets shed faster near the water
A traditional lash adhesive hardens by absorbing moisture from the air. It never fully stops. Weeks after your appointment it is still taking on humidity, and that gradually softens the bond holding each extension.
Add salt water, chlorine and sweat, and the bond weakens sooner. This is the reason so many people conclude that extensions simply do not work for them, when what actually failed was the adhesive choice.

What LED curing changes
LED adhesive is cured with light at the moment each extension is placed. The bond reaches full strength in seconds and is chemically complete, so ambient moisture has nothing left to work on.
In practice that means a set that holds 6 to 8 weeks whether you swim or not, no 48 hour waiting period before your first shower, and no planning your week around your lashes. It is a $20 upgrade on any full set, and for anyone spending time on the water it is the one upgrade worth taking.
Sets that work well for beach life
Wet effect, $200
Lightweight closed fans give a glossy, just out of the water finish. It is the set that suits the setting, and it looks intentional wet or dry.
Hybrid full set, $185
Texture and density with enough softness to look natural in daylight. The most popular set in the studio and the easiest to live with.
Classic full set, $150
Defined but understated. If you are in and out of the water constantly, a lighter set with fewer points of contact is simpler to maintain.
Volume, $200, and mega volume, $250
Fuller and darker, built fan by fan. Worth adding LED if you choose these, because a denser set has more to lose when retention drops.
Getting to the studio
We are at 175 SW 7th St, Suite 1805, Miami, FL 33130, in Brickell. From South Beach it is a straight run across the MacArthur Causeway, and from Mid Beach the Julia Tuttle brings you in. Most Miami Beach clients allow around twenty minutes.
The studio is private and appointment only, so you have the room to yourself. Booking is online with a $50 deposit that comes off your service.
If you would rather skip adhesive entirely
For beach and pool regulars, the Korean keratin lash lift is worth considering. It lifts and tints your own lashes, involves no adhesive at all, lasts 6 to 8 weeks, and has nothing that salt water can loosen. It is $140.
Plenty of clients alternate: extensions through the winter, a lash lift through the summer.
